Real estate in and around Boulder CO
Boulder County includes cities such as Boulder, Louisville (pronounced "Lewisville"), Lafayette, Longmont, Niwot, Gunbarrel, Lyons, Hygiene, Erie, Frederick, Firestone, Nederland, and Rollinsville. Broomfield Colorado has recently become its own county, but for all practical purposes is still considered to be on the outskirts of the Boulder metro area. (Frederick and Firestone are also not in Boulder County itself. They are just outside of Boulder County in Weld County. However, since so many residents commute to Boulder County from Frederick and Firestone due to the extremely low real estate prices, they are worth mentioning.) Each city has its own unique character, and is worth checking out. In general, the farther you travel from Boulder, the more home you get for your money.
